Short version
We collect only what we need to run the service. We never sell your data. Your baby's information stays private. You can delete everything, anytime.
We collect your email address (used for login), your baby's date of birth (to calculate age-appropriate foods and auto-unlock milestones), and the meal logs, allergen records, and notes you create. We do not collect payment information.
Your data is stored in a private PostgreSQL database on Microsoft Azure (hosted in the Central India region). All data is encrypted at rest and in transit using TLS. Access is restricted to your own account's records — no other user or Azure staff can read your meal logs through the app.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, or third parties for marketing. We do not use your baby's information for any purpose other than providing the service to you.
The AI Assistant sends your baby's age range and dietary preferences (and whatever you type in the chat) to Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service to generate meal suggestions and answers. No personally identifiable data (name, email, exact birth date) is included in these requests. Azure OpenAI processes this under Microsoft's enterprise data-handling terms — your prompts are not used to train any model.
You can delete your account and all associated data from Settings → Delete Account. We will permanently remove all your records within 30 days of the request. You can also email us at pehlaniwalateam@gmail.com to request deletion.
On the website, we use a single secure, httpOnly authentication cookie (set by our own server) to keep you logged in across sessions. On the mobile app, sign-in uses a securely stored access token instead of a cookie. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies. No third-party cookies are placed on your device.
This app is used by parents and caregivers — not by children directly. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. The baby's date of birth is used solely for age-gating food recommendations and is never shared.
